Most of all, I love to work on commissions. Many of my favourite paintings began with someone describing a place, a wave, or an animal that mattered to them.

How it works. We start with a conversation about the subject, the mood and the size that suits your wall. I will suggest options and, once we agree an approach, I begin work in soft pastel, sharing progress along the way.

Timing. A commission typically takes four to eight weeks depending on size, framing and the exhibition calendar. I will give you an honest estimate at the start.

Pricing. Commissions are priced in line with my gallery work of the same size, with framing included unless you prefer to arrange your own. A deposit secures your place in the diary and the balance is due on completion, once you are happy.
